Cian Healy has been suspended for two weeks following a disciplinary hearing in France. The suspension comes following a yellow card he received in the first half of Leinster's defeat at the hands of Toulon last weekend in the Champions Cup.

Healy pleaded not guilty to the offence of striking Toulon's Guilhem Guirado and, having heard all of the evidence, Roger Morris of Wales, who was the independent judicial officer, decided the Leinster prop could not be found guilty of the act. He did discipline Healy on committing an act of foul play and changed the charge to dangerous charging or obstructing or grabbing of an opponent without the ball, including shouldering.

Healy has the chance to appeal the two-week ban but will miss the chance to play against Munster in the Guinness PRO12 game on December 27. He is free to return to action against Toulon in the Aviva Stadium on December 28th.
