25,951 days.

That's how big of a gap, the Chicago Cubs bridged to win a game in the World Series. On Wednesday, the team defeated the Cleveland Indians 5-1, away from home, to level the series 1-1.

After Tuesday night's 6-0 win for the Indians, Chicago started Game 2 the strongest. After failing to score on Tuesday night, the Cubs were leading 2-0 inside the first three innings.

Kyle Schwarber, who had surgery for a torn ACL and LCL in his left knee earlier this season, returned as a designated hitter for the Cubs, and starred to help the team score two runs.

After the opening two games in Cleveland, the World Series moves to Chicago on Friday night for three games in three successive days at Wrigley Field.

The earliest the Series can be won is Sunday night, if either team wins all three games in Wrigley Field. A final two games in Cleveland are slated if the World Series needs a sixth or seventh game.
