Chelsea have so many players out on temporary deals that their loan department has a Whatsapp group for loan players to help them all keep in touch.

That was revealed by England under-21 (but Ireland eligible) Patrick Bamford in a recent interview as he went out on loan yet again, this time to Burnley after five previous loan spells at various clubs.

The Blues have become infamous for their use of the loan market for all the young players on their books, with over 30 players currently loaned out to clubs around Europe.

Youngster Lucas Piazon is one of those and while he is now at Fulham, the 22-year-old has already been loaned to Malaga, Vitesse Arnhem, Eintracht Frankfurt and Reading in his short career.

But it seems he is sick and tired of constantly being loaned out.

"It makes no sense to go on loan all the time," The Daily Mail quote the Brazilian as saying.

"It is not good for any player in my experience — or the experience of the other boys. I don't see it as a positive thing any more. To be in a different place every year is not good for me at 22.

"It's difficult to get a place in the team. They have their own players. You do your best, try to get a place in the squad, minutes on the pitch, score and create goals. That's all you can do."
