Chelsea have beaten Arsenal 2-1 at Stamford Bridge in the first of two Premier League games today.
Juan Mata gave Chelsea the lead and Frank Lampard made it 2-0 from the penalty spot after Ramires was felled in the box by Wojciech Szczesny.
The Gunners came out firing after the break and Theo Walcott pulled one back for Arsenal with an hour to go.
But it was Chelsea who had the better chances on the break towards the end, with Demba Ba having a shot cleared off the line after rounding Wojciech Szczensny.
The result keeps Chelsea third while Arsenal remain sixth, although they have a game in hand.
