When Ireland take on Australia this Saturday in the third Guinness Series test, we will be up against a familiar face in former Leinster coach Michael Cheika.

The Heineken Cup-winning head coach took charge of the Wallabies ahead of the test series and tonight as he revels in his return to Ireland, he spoke to Off The Ball.

So what does Cheika have in store for Ireland and also in the build up to next year's Rugby World Cup?

"Obviously we want to have an attacking style. There's no doubt that that's always the style. We've also got to be clever in the way we use our strengths and add into that a certain toughness and hardness," said Cheika.

"In the Welsh game, we were pretty good for our first test match together. We only four or five days together, so we weren't too bad really."

He also opened up about the strategic differences between his Australia side and the way he set out at Leinster.

Cheika also spoke about the strong connection with Ireland, where three of his children were born and where he enjoyed success with Leinster.
