SPL leaders Celtic have been held to a 1-1 draw at St Mirren.

Kris Commons put the visitors ahead early in the first half, but was then stretchered off before half time.

Celtic were reduced to 10 men when Victor Wanyama was sent off midway through the second period, before Paul McGowan levelled the scores from the penalty spot.

The result leaves the champions 13 points clear at the top of the table.
