Cavan have ended London’s incredible run in this year’s All-Ireland football championship, while also advancing to the All-Ireland quarter finals.

The sides were tied at half-time but Cavan pushed on in the second period and despite looking weary the Ulster side finished up winners by a score of 1-17 to 1-08

Paul Geraghty got the Exiles goal in the first half, while Cavan finished off the game as anything resembling a contest with a Niall McDermott goal in the dying moments.
