The GAA's planned redevelopment of Casement Park in Belfast has been stalled.
Planning permission for the expansion of the stadium has been denied today by the High Court in Belfast after an objection from a local residents' group.
Planning for a €95M project to upgrade the ground to a 38,000 capacity all-seater stadium was initially given approval by Northern Ireland's environment minister, Mark Durkan in December of last year.
Local residents have raised concerns about what kind of impact the larger crowds would have on the area.
Following his ruling today, Mr Justice Horner has now invited all the relevant parties to make further submissions on appropriate remedies to the current impasse.
