Cardiff have won the first ever all Welsh meeting in the Premier League.

Swansea were the better side in the first half but an improved performance from Cardiff was rewarded when Stephen Caulker scored for the newly promoted side, with a header in the 61^st minute.

Swansea battled to get back into the game but couldn’t break down Malky Mackay’s side. Their task was made significantly more difficult when Michel Vorm was shown a straight red for bringing down Fraizer Campbell, with the Cardiff striker bearing down on goal.
