Cardiff City have confirmed the capture of Irish striker, Eoin Doyle from Chesterfield.

The two clubs have agreed a seven-figure fee for the 26-year-old former Sligo Rovers and Hibs player.

Cardiff's initial outlay will be worth around €850K, but could rise to as much as £1.25 million depending on performances.

He has scored 21 league goals in League One this season
