British Prime Minister David Cameron has ruled out a boycott of the Sochi Winter Olympics next year.

The author and broadcaster Stephen Fry had called for the Games to be moved, in protest at Russia's anti-gay laws.

Responding on Twitter, the Prime Minister says although he shares his concern - it's better to challenge prejudice by attending.

This spokesperson for the Olympic Committee says a boycott is not the answer.
