Brock Lesnar returned to the octagon last night and not only did he take Conor McGregor's spot at the top of the UFC 200 card, he also replaced him at the top of the highest guaranteed earnings list.
The WWE superstar earned an eye watering $2.5m which becomes the UFC's highest guaranteed earning for an event, surpassing Conor McGregor's $1m take home for his welterweight bout against Nate Diaz at UFC 196.
Mark Hunt, meanwhile, earns $700,000 for his trouble and even the payday didn't help Lesnar commit to the organisation.
"Brock Lesnar does what Brock Lesnar wants to do," he told reporters after the fight. "I believe that my future is already laid out for the next month.
"Once the dust settles [at Summer Slam against Randy Orton], I don’t know what I’m going to do. I had one hell of a time tonight, and I enjoyed myself, so we’ll see what happens."
