Leinster head coach Matt O'Connor has confirmed that Brian O'Driscoll will start Saturday's Heineken Cup clash with Northampton.

The former Ireland captain has come through the 'return to play' procedures in relation to the concussion he suffered during Ireland's defeat to New Zealand and is now set to regain his place in the Leinster midfield.

O'Connor will not name his team to face the Saints until tomorrow, but Leinster captain Leo Cullen also looks to be in line to start after making his first appearance of the season just last week.
