For sportspeople, there is always speculation regarding playing futures and that is no different for two of Ireland's rugby internationals.

Leinster's Ian Madigan has been linked with a move to the English Premiership as he looks for consistent opportunities to play at out-half, while Connacht's Robbie Henshaw has not ruled out a move to the three-time Heineken Cup winners.

Brian O'Driscoll was on Off The Ball this Friday night and gave his take on both players' situations.

On Madigan, who is weighing his options up, he said: "I hope for his sake, it does get resolved early and he deserves to be looked after and if he wants to play 10 for another club, it's very hard to stop him."

He also shared his perspective on Henshaw and how he might fit in if a move to Leinster happens at some point in the future.

"Is there room for Robbie? Of course there's always room. The lads will make room because a player of his caliber will always start and that's why maybe other players, if they feel as if that move is going to happen, they're going to need to move on," he said.
