Brian O'Driscoll has admitted that a career in coaching does not really appeal to him as he prepares for the final Six Nations championship of his career.

The veteran centre has reiterated that he will definitely be retiring at the end of the season and is determined to finish his playing career by adding some more silverware to his collection.

The 35-year-old insists that he will resist the temptation to try and prolong his career to include the 2015 World Cup.

At today's press conference he was asked if he is interested in a media career or following the example of Leinster captain Leo Cullen who will begin coaching at the end of the season.

He said: "The coaching thing at the moment doesn't really float my boat. Before Christmas I started thinking too much about the afterlife and there's no rush. I'll just enjoy this Six Nations and the knockout parts of the Heineken Cup and hopefully win some silverware."
