Ireland could be fined by UEFA after having five players booked in last Sundays 1-1 draw with Poland at the Aviva.
Wes Hoolahan, John O'Shea, Seamus Coleman, Marc Wilson and James McCarthy were all yellow carded during the match.
Once teams incur five bookings in one match, they are automatically charged with misconduct by UEFA, although punishment could result in just a warning.
