Tommy Bowe will be available for selection for next Saturday’s second test against Australia, following surgery on his broken hand.
Warren Gatland told reporters after this morning’s 23-21 first test win over Australia that Bowe had taken part in training and despite earlier fears the Ulster winger would miss the entire tour – following suffering a broken hand against the Queensland Reds - it now appears he will be ready to play a part in the remainder of the series.
“Tommy Bowe is fit and available, he trained today and did contact,” Gatland told reporters.
Gatland also told reporters that English centre Manu Tuiilagi will be back for Tuesday’s match with the Melbourne Rebels.
