On Saturday, Petra Kvitova defeated Eugenie Bouchard 6-3 6-0 to claim her second Wimbledon title.

Bouchard was broken in the third and seventh games and fell to 5-2. She showed her own talent by breaking back for 3-5 after Kvitova made an unforced error. The Canadian could not hold and Kvitova went on to win the first set in 30 minutes. The second set was controlled by Kvitova as she showed her will and determination to win this title once again. Kvitova won the match in just 55 minutes.

"It was a big moment walking out on to centre court for a final. I have that experience now, I know what it feels like," said Bouchard. "I hope I can walk out to many more finals. That's the goal.

Bouchard is the first Canadian to reach a grand slam final, although compatriot Milos Raonic was close in his semi-final match against Roger Federer.

"I'm going to go back, work on my game, try to get better. You always need to get better."

The 20-year-old has made it to the Australian and French Open semi finals this past year and is playing in just her sixth major tournament at senior level. As the 2012 junior champion of Wimbledon and No. 7 in the world, Bouchard has the makings of a champion.
