London Mayor Boris Johnson has wished the London team well ahead of today’s Connacht final against Mayo, tweeting a message of support for The Exiles.

Johnson has previously offered his support to Paul Coggins and his side, releasing a statement in the wake of their semi-final win over Leitrim, saying: “Huge congratulations to the London team as they continue on with their historic march towards this year’s Connacht Senior Football Championship Final.
“Regardless of the result against Mayo, London can be proud of their mightily impressive achievements this year.
“They travel to Castlebar on their momentous quest for victory with best wishes from me and all London fans. Go London!”
London face Mayo at 2 pm today, in Castlebar, in their first ever provincial final.
