Leinster have admitted that Brian O'Driscoll is unlikely to play in this Saturday's Heineken Cup opener against the Ospreys.
Forwards coach Jono Gibbes has revealed that the former Ireland captain is still struggling with the calf injury that ruled him out of last weekend's defeat in Munster.
The centre is now likely to be rested for the trip to the Liberty Stadium.
Brendan Macken is now expected to start at outside centre this weekend.
