Aston Villa's Christian Benteke could make his return from injury against Manchester City on Saturday.

The Belgium striker has been out for five months with an Achilles problem, but he will have a full week's training ahead of the game.

Benteke, who missed the World Cup, has scored 29 league goals in two seasons for the Birmingham club.

Villa made a bright start to the season, but have suffered consecutive 3 - 0 defeats to Arsenal and Chelsea in the last two weeks.
