An 11-year-old Belfast native could become a star of Real Madrid's youth academy.

Mark Norris, who plays with Linfield has been invited to train with the club's underage team next summer. He was spotted after starring in a Youtube video which showed him in action in underage games around Northern Ireland.

The Belfast Telegraph have reported that former Real Madrid player Raul Valbuena spooted the video online and made contact with the team's underage coaches about the future star.

"I will be a bit nervous at the start but then I will settle into it. I would love to play for Real Madrid or Man United." Mark told the newspaper. He supports Manchester Uinted.

His father Keith added that he hopes Mark will be able to forge himself a career as a player. "I don't know what level he can play at, but with hard work, focused determination and a load of luck he may have a chance to get a living from the game, albeit he is still very young".
