Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic does not agree with the Premier League's regulations regarding who is eligible for a title winning medal.

He played in the champions' 4-3 win over Watford last night, which was only his second appearance of the Premier League season, having been behind No 1 Thibaut Courtois for the season.

The Bosnian will get a medal as back-up goalkeepers have special dispensation due to the specialist nature of their role but only Chelsea outfield players who have made five league appearances can take part in Sunday's trophy presentation.

Begovic told Sky Sports News that, in his view, off-field contributions should be taken into account.

"I think the rule should be changed, I don't know about the whole five appearances," he said.

"Having been part of the group all year, we've all sacrificed, played our part in the team each and every day, but they really have to look at that rule again.

"It's the rule for now, thankfully I get one and obviously to have that in your career is great."
