Bayern Munich's club doctor has left the club in a fallout from yesterday's shock 3-1 defeat to FC Porto according to reports in the German press.

In a statement, Dr Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt, who has been involved with the club since the mid-70s, was unhappy with being blamed for the result in Portugal.

"After the Champions League game ... the main blame for the defeat was put on the medical department for reasons we don't understand," he said.

Off The Ball's European football correspondent Graham Hunter had alluded to tensions between Guardiola and the club's medical team on tonight's show.
