When former Barcelona, Sevilla and Real Betis manager Patrick O'Connell passed away destitute in 1959, he was buried in an unmarked grave in London.

But now 57 years on from the ex-Ireland international's death, the Dubliner's final resting place has been renovated, with a gravestone erected.

O'Connell managed some of La Liga's most famous clubs in the 1930s and 1940s - winning Real Betis' only title - as well as being credited as one of the saviours of Barcelona as the Spanish Civil War raged.
