Mario Balotelli's agent has taken a swipe at Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp after his client's departure to French top flight side Nice.

The Italian forwarded ended an unhappy and brief spell at Anfield by moving to France on deadline day, with Klopp quite happy to see him depart.

But Mino Raiola did not hold back as he took the manager to task in comments to Gazzetta dello Sport.

"I won’t judge him as a coach, even if for me he isn’t a great tactician, but I don’t think he realised we were talking about a person. Mario was exemplary, he never complained even when training alone," he said.

"It’s not enough to say Klopp was unfair: he was a piece of ****."

However he did acknowledge that "it’s natural Balo is considered a risk because over the last two years he has not lived up to expectations".
