Australia are the third team to guarantee their place at next year's World Cup.

The Socceroos beat Iraq 1 - 0 in their final qualifier in Sydney to finish second in Group B of the Asia zone.

Japan had already sealed their place at the tournament.

The two Group A spots will be decided later. South Korea only need a point against second placed Iran to qualify. 

Third placed Uzbekistan are still in contention going into their game with Qatar.
