Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho says Fernando Torres definitely has a future at the club.
The £50 million signing has scored only three times in 2014, and did not start Wednesday's Champions League match with Paris Saint Germain, amid Mourinho's criticism of his strikeforce.
Mourinho says the Spaniard needs to hit the back of the net more often, but says he does offer plenty to the side apart from goals.
Torres has been linked with moves away from the club including to his boyhood club Atletico Madrid. Significantly, Chelsea are said to hold a serious interest in Atleti's star forward Diego Costa.
