Ireland's bid for the 2023 Rugby World Cup has been formally announced.

The IRFU as well as the governments from both sides of the border have come together to win the rights to host the biggest event in rugby, while the GAA has approved the use of certain stadia.

A survey suggests that 73 percent of Irish adults support our rugby world cup 2023 bid. That's according to the Philip Lee Sport Report, conducted in association with the Amárach market research agency.
