Daniel Watson came off the bench to score two goals for Dublin in a 2-6 to 8 points win over Louth at Parnell Park, UCD overcame Wexford 2-12 to 3-3 , DCU beat Westmeath 2-15 to 2-9, Meath beat IT Carlow 18 points to 12 and Wicklow overcame D.I.T 1-21 to 3-13.

Conor Meredith and Martin Scully grabbed goals for Laois as they beat neighbours Offaly 2-18 to 1-15 and Sean O'Brien was on the line with the Carlow management but they lost 1-15 to 13 points against Athlone IT.

Longford went down to a heavy defeat against Kildare at Newtowncashel, 3-20 to 6 points the final score.
