Cork manager Jimmy Barry Murphy has expressed satisfaction with his side’s year so far despite yesterdays 3-25 to 4-19 defeat to Cork in the Allianz league quarter final. The Rebels have achieved their main aim of getting back into division 1-A after topping 1-B.
Seamus Harnedy scored 2 goals for the Reds who were 10 points behind early in the game as Tipp flew out of the blocks up against a young and experimental full back line who eventually settled in and imposed themselves. After the game Jimmy Barry Murphy didn't seem to down about their defeat.
