Aston Villa will be looking to move out of the relegation zone today as they host Liverpool who they have already beaten this season.
A point would be enough for Paul Lambert's side to climb out of the drop zone. But Lambert will have to do without Ciaran Clark who was injured on international duty with Ireland, and Australian Brett Holman.
However Darren Bent, Fabian Delph, Nathan Baker and Karim El Ahmadi are available again.
While Villa seek an escape route from the relegation zone, Brendan Rodgers' main concern will be establishing some consistency.
The Reds 3 - 1 loss to today's opponents at Anfield earlier in the season was one of many unexpected defeats which pockmarked good runs.
Rodgers will be tempred to bring back Jamie Carragher and Pepe Reina into the starting XI but can no longer call on the services of Joe Allen, Fabio Borini and Martin Kelly until next season.
