AS Monaco are close to agreeing a deal with the Ligue Football Professionel which will end a long-running tax dispute.
Because Monaco are based in a principality, the club was not required to pay French taxes.
That was an issue for their Ligue 1 rivals and in March, the LFP announced that all football clubs would have to be based in France for tax purposes.
But a deal which will see Monaco pay €25 million in both 2014 and 2015 is reportedly close to completion.
The club suffered a blow this week when Colombian striker Radamel Falcao will face months on the sidelines with cruciate ligament damage.
