Andrey Arshavin has rejoined former club Zenit St Petersburg after his Arsenal contract expired.

The forward had been on loan at the Russian side last season as his opportunities at the Premier League side became limited.

Arshavin joined Arsenal for a reported €17.5 million in 2009 and although he shone early on, his form dipped for the remaidner of his time at the Emirates.
