Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho launched a stinging attack on Arsene Wenger today, branding the Arsenal manager as a "specialist in failure".

The self-styled Special One has spent recent months having a go at Manchester City counterpart Manuel Pellegrini, another manager who he enjoys baiting, as well as a more playful dig at Liverpool's Brendan Rodgers.

This time he turned his ire on Wenger, who he once called a "voyeur" in his previous stint as Chelsea manager.

Responding to a Wenger comment that the Portuguese manager has a "fear of failure", Mourinho replied:

"He's a specialist in failure. I am not. The reality is he's a specialist because eight years without a piece of silverware, that is failure."
