One of the stealthier transfer sagas of the summer - if you can call it that - has been Arsenal's reported chase for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema.

However, it looks like the Frenchman has well and truly put a pin in that balloon.

Using his Twitter account, the striker emphasised that Real is his "home" and made reference to "clowns", he put rumours to bed:
