Arsenal have given themselves the possibility of finishing in the Top Four on the final day of the Premier League season after a 2-0 home win over relegated Sunderland.

Two second half goals proved to be the difference for the Gunners who followed up Saturday's 4-1 win at Stoke with another three points.

The win lifts Arsene Wenger's side to within a point of fourth placed Liverpool ahead of this Sunday's final day of the season.

Arsenal face Everton on the final day at the Emirates while Liverpool host already relegated Middlesbrough at Anfield.

If Liverpool were to drop points, Arsenal would overtake them with a win against Everton, while current goal difference stands at +2 in Liverpool's favour.

Tonight though, Sanchez gave Arsenal the lead on 72 minutes when he tapped in a Mesut Ozil pass before an Olivier Giroud assist set up a point blank header for the Chilean.
