Tries from Billy Dardis and Conor Oliver gave Nigel Carolan's side a 24-20 win over Scotland, to follow up their opening win over Argentina.

Next up, a meeting with New Zealand on Wednesday in Viadana.

New Zealand top the standings in Pool C with 10 points, two points clear of Ireland.
