West Brom striker Nicolas Anelka claims that he has terminated his contract with the club.
The former French international has told his Twitters followers that he has decided to quit his contract after West Brom attempted to impose a number of conditions on him before his return to the first-team squad.

His tweets read: "Following a meeting between the club and I, they proposed that I return to the first team squad under conditions which I cannot except. Wishing to uphold mu integrity, I have taken the decision to terminate my contract with West Bromwhcih Albion."
Anelka is currently serving a lengthy ban after making a controversial quenelle gesture after scoring a goal.
