Andy Murray has finally given Britain a men's winner at Wimbledon.
The Scot overcame 2011 champion Novak Djokovic in straight sets - 6-4, 7-5, 6-4 - in the final.
The last Brit to win on Centre Court was Fred Perry in 1936.
Murray had come close in last year's final, winning the opening set against Roger Federer before eventually losing out to the Swiss in four sets.
Afterwards he paid tribute to his coach, Ivan Lendl, saying, "He believed in me when a lot of people didn't."
Wimbledon was the only Grand Slam to escape Lendl during his playing career.
The win makes Murray the holder of both the Wimbledon and US Open titles.
He'll be hoping to defend his title in New York at the end of August.
Murray dedicated the win to his coach Ivan Lendl:
Earlier, he tweeted his disbelief:
Can't believe what's just happened!!!!!!!
