Anthony Daly could be joined by two All-Ireland winners in his backroom team if he is appointed as the next manager of the Clare senior hurlers.

That's according to Clare FM who report that the ex-Clare and Dublin manager is planning to put together a backroom team that would include ex-Tipperary All-Ireland winner Tommy Dunne and Daly's former All-Ireland-winning Clare team-mate Brian Lohan.

Clare FM also suggest that Clare's former All-Ireland under-21-winning management duo Donal Moloney and Gerry O'Connor are also in the running.

Both Daly and the duo of Moloney and O'Connor were named as potential leading candidates by Peter O'Connell of The Clare Champion as the Banner county seek a successor to 2013 All-Ireland-winning Clare boss Davy Fitzgerald who stepped down last month.
