It’s a massive weekend in the Allianz Hurling League Division 1 this Easter weekend, with all six sides still in with a chance of making the semi-finals, while all six also remain at risk of relegation coming into the final round of games.

Clare travel to Semple Stadium to face Munster rivals Tipperary, with a narrow defeat against Kilkenny last week still fresh in the memory.

Kilkenny welcome Cork to Nowlan Park in what could prove to be the tie of the weekend and a chance for both sides to lay down a marker for the coming year, while Waterford welcome Galway to Walsh Park.

Alan Browne, All Ireland winner with Cork, was speaking with Newstalk Breakfast’s Oisin Langan this morning and he ran through the weekend’s games, looking forward to another round of competitive match ups between the teams many expect to be duelling for All Ireland glory in September.
