Alex Ferguson has backed Gianni Infantino for the FIFA presidency.

Manchester United's legendary manager says the UEFA general secretary has "good professionalism, discipline, organisational ability and knowledge of the game".

Jose Mourinho, Luis Figo and Fabio Capello are also backing Infantino's candidacy.

The election to succeed banned president Sepp Blatter will take place on the 26th of this month.

Infantino will go up against Sheikh Salman, Prince Ali of Jordan, Jerome Champagne and Tokyo Sexwale.
