UFC Featherweight champion Jose Aldo is expected to meet doctors tomorrow over a rib injury that has cast doubt over his fight with Conor McGregor in Las Vegas next month.

Reports suggest that Aldo broke a rib yesterday in training for the fight. He needs to be cleared by doctors for the fight to take place, although according to mmafighting.com, Aldo wants the fight to take place.

If the fight was to be postponed, thousands of Irish fans may be out of pocket. Conor McGregor has taken to twitter this morning saying that it's "business as usual" for the fighter. Whether or not, he fights Aldo for the title, it looks like McGregor will still fight in Las Vegas on July 11th.

Two notable fighters has already offered their services to fight McGregor at short notice, should they be needed. Donegal fighter Joseph Duffy who was the last fighter to defeat McGregor has taken to Twitter saying he wants the fight.

Former UFC Lightweight Champion Frankie Edgar, who now fights in the Featherweight division is also waiting for the phonecall to replace Aldo. He posted a photo on Instagram showing he was ready to take the fight.
