Despite the loss, due to a fortuitous,  but fantastic, late goal from MK Dons’Jon Otsemboor, the AFC Wimbledon fans were sure to get in their off the field point scoring early on.

The fans in the away section of Stadium MK held aloft small placards reading “We are Wimbledon” and then, in case the message hadn’t been understood, a small plane, chartered by an AFC Wimbledon fan, flew above the ground with a large banner trailing, which read “We are Wimbledon”.
