Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor says he had five clubs to choose from for a potential loan deal.
The indications are that he decided to go to West Ham - but no move was sealed before the transfer window closed on Monday night.
Adebayor told Sky Sports News that chairman Daniel Levy intervened to keep him at the club, and insists he's happy to stay.

"Unluckily Mr Levy was against it," said the Togolese striker. "The club decided that I should stay at the club.
"I'm very happy to stay at my club and do my job."
