AC Milan's new owners have continued to flex their financial muscle as the club try to recapture their former glories.
The Serie A giants have completed the €38 million signing of forward Andre Silva from Porto.
He joins defenders Ricardo Rodriguez and Mateo Musacchio who both cost €18 million.
Silva has scored seven goals in eight matches since winning his first cap for Portugal, although the 21 year old was not part of the squad for the winning Euro 2016 campaign.
Last season, he also proved prolific at club level, scoring 16 league goals for FC Porto.
AC Milan have not won Serie A since 2011 and the last of their seven European Cup/Champions League triumphs came in 2007.
They have not featured in Europe's elite club competition since the 2013-14 season and will be involved in next season's Europa League third qualifying round, having finished sixth in the Italian top flight this season.
