Connacht coach Pat Lam has confirmed that up to 12 players have been affected by a flu virus.

No players have been ruled out of Saturday's Heineken Cup meeting with Toulose yet but training was cancelled today.

There is no confirmation of which players have been affected.

But it is not ideal preparation for a repeat of last weekend's heroics against the French team.
