There have been major concerns over people with chronic medical conditions ignoring symptoms and not receiving treatment in hospitals during the lockdown.

It was estimated that 9,000 urgent cardiac care procedures were not done during lockdown. 

Now with Covid-19 under more control, Consultants are urging anyone with heart symptoms to #JustGo and get medical help immediately.

Ivan was joined Professor Bill McEvoy, Professor of Preventive Cardiology at NUI Galway and Medical and Research Director and Robert Upton, a 76 year old man who received an aortic valve replacement during the lockdown.
