When we think of the tourist industry in Ireland, we tend to think of leisure tourism where people come for a holiday, but business tourists travel in order to attend international conferences and corporate meetings, making it a highly specialised and lucrative sector. Also, in the wake of the pandemic, UK companies have been given the opportunity to benefit from a government scheme - The Future Fund - to support those facing financing difficulties and is being delivered via the British Business Bank.
